December 17: Making Odisha proud, renowned fashion blogger Shweta Choudhury represented the Indian state for India conference during Facebook’s Fuel that took place on the 15th, 16th of December. The goal of this conference was to showcase power packed ‘change stories’ in the country and it also highlighted the role of Facebook in fueling the journey of these people.

Instagram chose 5 creators to share their journey with citizens among whom, one was fashion blogger Shweta Choudhury. The conference witnessed the presence of top executed from Facebook and business tycoons of the country. The people include Mark Zuckerberg, Sheryl Shandberg, Adam Mosseiri, Mukesh Ambani, and Asim Warsi.

Shweta shared her journey as a creator as she spoke in Odia, representing her state solely. She has many achievements in her list that includes recreating everything TV shows, movies, cartoons or anime into pop culture, and also she contributed to transforming blogging into a ‘trend’ in Odisha.

Other than fame, she also proved to be a ‘responsible citizen’ as she raised Rs. 40,000 for an orphanage. Recently on of her Instagram reel ‘What if IPL Clubs were people’ was broadcasting by Instagram on Star Sports. Also, she had previously organised a huge closet sale to raise funds for charity. On the current note, Choudhury is working for an eco-retreat project with Odisha tourism.
