December 28: The Thailand government is now collaborating with the popular dating app Tinder in order to promote domestic tourism but there’s a twist; they have launched the travel campaign for singles. Thailand tourism has recently rolled out 60 days and 90-day visas for International travellers. In order to keep the pace of the recovery, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has partnered with Tinder to create tourism packages for singles.

Amid the widespread Covid pandemic threat, the government planned to introduce this move in order to revive the losses in the tourism industry of the foreign arrivals. As suggested by the reports, the plan known as the Single Journeys campaign consists of nine major tourism routes as follow; Chang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Udon Thani-Loie, Phuket, Lop Buri-Saraburi, Chumphon-Surat Thani, Ayutthaya, and Pattaya.

The campaign was earlier launched on 20th of December for the single travellers who are seeking a relationship, joining a river cruise trip to visit the nine holy temples by the river and having dinner on board. Reportedly, the second tour is going to commence on January 9 which will be available for 50 single people. As per in the offer, this will include a beach party, concert at Koh Khai.

The third tour is scheculed for January 23, which will also accommodate up to 50 single people, and will be a one-day train trip across Pa Sak Jolasid Dam in Lopburi, Thailand‘s Monkey City, and enjoying dinner at the dam. The reports also state that the government will add more routes in the coming days those would include trips to the hills of Mae Hing Son and Pattaya.
