Spiti Valley to reopen from February 17 but with listed covid restrictions

04 February: If you were missing travel to Spiti till date given the pandemic, you won’t have to stay sad now because the Spiti valley will reopen for tourists soon from February 17 onwards.

The Spiti Tourism Society in a released statement said that the hoteliers, panchayats, travel agents, Mahila mandals, and the community leaders have jointly decided to reopen the valley for the tourism The statement further said that region is excited to welcome the new guests as the valley had remained incomplete this past year due to the situations triggered by the pandemic.

However, the order has been released with a long list of restrictions to avoid the further transfer of disease on the tourists visiting the spot.
