Previously, the campus was scheduled to open in 2020, prior to which a media preview also happened in the first place in March 2020, however, was postponed when covid started worsening. For a long time afterwards, the Disney parks all over the world remained shut.

In a press release, Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort has said, “We are so excited to soon welcome our guests to Avengers Campus, our first land dedicated to SuperHeroes. Here, our cast members will unite to help guests of all ages find their superpowers and create special memories.”

As Imagineers, we are always looking to push the envelope. And the stories that we’re telling are different than any stories that we have in our parks today.”

However later on December 31, the official Disney fan club shared a post that confirmed that the Avengers Campus will open in 2021 although there was not any exact mentioned date. The newly announced land has some amazing features and new attractions. Above any, the star attraction here will be Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.
