British brand Burberry launches limited edition Future Archive collection

January: Inspired by the history of the label, Burberry has launched its Future Archive collection which is a limited edition range of the outerwear. The capsule collection includes trench coats and quilted jackets in both womenswear and menswear styles.

The Future Archive collection can be shopped via Burberry’s own website,, its Chicago flagship and through Mytheresa. All the pieces are launched exclusively under this specific collection only. However, some designs and styles were limited to a production of only 150 pieces. The limited product range of the Future Archive collection is significant for its buyers and customers to be fast enough to book their pieces.

This limited-edition collection was designed by the chief creative officer of Burberry, Riccardo Tisci giving wings to the brand’s strong outerwear roots.

The brand in the partnership with the British Fashion Council to initiate their prominent step ReBurberry Fabric program. Burberry is also practising sustainability in action as its leftover fabric in further donated to UK based fashion students who are in need of the raw materials. With this, the brand also hopes to support young talent.
