May 26: Setting its goal on a high scale, Sportswear brand Puma has a goal of manufacturing 90% of its products making them more sustainable materials by 2025. The equipment business will be making 75% of the polyester it uses ‘recycled by this deadline’.

The announcement has come as Puma said that it has succeeded in 2020 in finding sustainable sources for the materials it uses during its production process. Some of the main materials used are namely viscose, cotton and down. Above all, the objective of the business is also to reduce the consumption of water and chemicals across its production chain.

Puma is also pursuing an eco-friendly approach through dedicated product lines. At first, there is the recycled polyester collection known as Exhale which the brand has created along with the supermodel Cara Delevingne.
