May 12: Indian airline Vistara has recently announced starting flights between Delhi and Tokyo route from June 16. The arrangements will be made under the air bubble agreement formed between India and Japan. The airline is planning to fly once a week between the two capital cities. The information was delivered via the airline’s statement.

Vistara’s announcement came when India along with its aviation industry is devastated amid the growing Covid infections. Several countries, during the previous week, have restricted travel exchange with India. These countries are United States, United Kingdom and Australia as well.

Vistara claimed that the airline will be using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with its three-class cabin configuration to serve the newly announced Delhi-Tokyo route. The second wave of coronavirus pandemic has created a much worse scenario than last year that has badly hit the travel industry of the country.
