March 16<\/strong>: Aiming to attract tourist with the lush green and beautiful gardens of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Udhampur’s Highland Park in the Kud area has been decorated with 9000 tulip plants in 5 different colours bedded across the land.<\/p>\n In its first move, the step was initiated in the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden located in Srinagar. The step will help attract locals as well as tourists and nature lovers to the UT. The visitors will be having no time boundaries neither will a fee be charged for them in order to visit the gardens.<\/p>\n Impressed by the step, a tourist from Chenani town of Udhampur said that the new Tulip Garden at the Kud and indeed become a tourist attraction.<\/p>\n
