February 22:\u00a0<\/strong>In order to provide an online platform to the local weavers and artisans, Flipkart has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu state’s ministry of small-scale and medium enterprises.<\/p>\n This partnership has been drawn under Flipkart’s Samarth program that aims at helping the small-scale industries of Tamil Nadu state to present and sell their products on a global platform without any hindrance and limit. Other than this, Flipkart will also be providing market access training and support to the sellers.<\/p>\n The Samarth initiative was launched by Flipkart back in 2019 that solely targeted helping craftspersons, artisans, and weavers from across the country to sell their products on its e-commerce platform.<\/p>\n
