Delhi to Sikkim, January:<\/strong> Indian airline SpiceJet has recently announced flight operations from Delhi to Pakyong airport of Sikkim starting from January 23. The budget carrier announced to connect the aerodrome from Delhi with a non-stop daily service.<\/p>\n SpiceJet said on Friday that the new route’s air services will be offered under Central government’s UDAN which is a regional connectivity scheme. The air travel will be operated by a Bombardier 400 aircraft.<\/p>\n The airlines also said that it would also be adding another frequency on the Delhi-Leh-Delhi route from Janaury 27. With this development, SpiceJet will become the first and till now the only airline to offer daily and direct air services between Delhi and the northeastern state. Besides, Pakyong airport is the only operational airport that handles commercial flight operations in Sikkim.<\/p>\n
