However, covid has put a board on the much-awaiting celebrations of many as many states have launched a new set of rules and restrictions in order to stop the spread of this virus further.<\/p>\n<p>The New Year will bring celebrations and gatherings which will put citizens under more risk. With the new covid strain being detected aboard, India is being more careful and cautious as the new end celebrations are around the corner.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maharashtra.gov.in\/\"><em>Maharashtrian government<\/em><\/a> has also placed a night curfew in the state from 11 PM to 6AM. This 7-hour long night curfew is applied across all the cities of the state. The night curfew is going to stay in place from December 22 to January 5. Normal celebrations cannot be permitted under current circumstances.<\/li>\n<li>Like Maharashtra, <em>Karnataka<\/em> had also earlier announced a night curfew in place but now, it has been retracted. Currently, the state has imposed a temporary ban on mass gatherings from December 30 to January 2. Also, pubs, restaurants and clubs do not hold permission to host parties or any gathering within the slotted dates. The curfew will stay in place from December 31 8 PM till January 1 PM. The restrictions will be the same as they were during Diwali this year, and are applicable to all.<\/li>\n<li><em>Tamil Nadu<\/em> has already banned the New Year celebrations as the orders have been issued to all the beaches, hotels, resorts, and clubs of the state. The order states that there will be no celebrates on the nights of December 31 and January 1.
