December 19: Given the covid circumstances, the domestic air passenger traffic had been improving on a monthly basis in November, however, the stats had declined by more than half on a yearly basis. As per the information given by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), in November around 63.54 lakh, domestic passengers travelled by air.<\/p>\n
This number was 20.43% higher than the figure received in the previous month. Domestic airlines flew with 52.71 lakh and 39.43 lakh passengers in October and September respectively. As compared to the corresponding period last year, the domestic air traffic had witnessed a drop of 50.93%.<\/p>\n
