This was due to the nation-wide closure call given by the farmers protesting against the New farm ordinances.<\/p>\n<p>Updating about the Bharat Bandh call, the airlines quoted that for the passengers unable to reach the airport due to the 8th December disturbances, no-show charges would be waived. Also, one free date change will be allowed for those who have a confirmed ticket for the day from any Indian airport. Air India took to Twitter to share this important piece of information.
