December 05: As soon as the British government approved the Covid-19 vaccine, Indian travel agents are receiving plenty of requests from Indians wanting to travel to the UK to get the vaccine. A travel agent is planning to launch a 3-night package for Indians to want to get the benefit of the vaccination drive in the UK. This is likely to begin as early from next week.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, the UK became the first country to have approved Pfizer\/BioNTech vaccine against the highly contagious covid-19. The confirmation was made after their independent regulator Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency underwent a detailed analysis of the vaccine.<\/p>\n
The Mumbai-based travel agent told PTI that several queries that occurred on Wednesday asking how, when and if they can travel to the UK to get the vaccine. The agent further added, “I have told them it is too early to say (whether Indians can get the vaccine in the UK). Anyway, the first in line to get the vaccine would be the elderly and health workers in the UK who are most vulnerable to the coronavirus.”<\/p>\n
