It deals in exquisite bridal finery, formals, office outfits, daily cotton, and much more. With everyone doing their bit for the eradication of COVID-19, Neeru\u2019s has also taken a step forward. The brand recently launched its initiative to produce DIY face masks for the mitigation of the disease.<\/p>\r\n<p>As Avnish Kumar, MD Neeru\u2019s explains, \u201cNeeru\u2019s as a Design House for Ethnic Fashion are aiming to keep our goal to empower and mobilize one of India\u2019s first grassroots \u201cFREE of COST\u201d DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Mask movement to contribute towards the efforts in Fighting COVID-19. Prepared using fabrics and slew of tailors under safe, sanitary conditions, the masks have been manufactured keeping the government\u2019s healthcare guidelines in mind&#8221;.<\/p>\r\n<p>Speaking more about the initiative, Avnish Kumar, MD Neeru\u2019s shares, \u201cWe believe this is our chance to join the fight against Covid-19 and help employees, families and those in need. Realizing the growing importance and need of the same, the fashion house aims to distribute these to anyone who is in need of it. From doctors to common man, Neeru\u2019s DIY face mask will be accessible to all. The masks are produced keeping all the guidelines in mind and are in progress with full power.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cBy now, we have a capacity of making appx 2500-3000 pieces of masks every day. We aim to distribute about 1 lakh masks for free by the end of April. We are distributing it to police stations, municipal bodies, NGOs, retailers, hospitals, and the people who are in need of it.
