In a bid to be more sustainable and to keep its CO2-emissions to a minimum, H&M has come up with green delivery system.<\/p>\n
The retailer teamed up with Fietskoeriers.nl, a bicycle delivery service throughout Netherlands. Developing a climate-smart transport channel,\u00a0 deliveries will be made by the cycling company. The Dutch customers will be the first to get the service.<\/p>\n
The new service is a next-day delivery option and would be priced as H&M\u2019s regular next-day delivery. Fietskoeriers.nl will pick up the parcels at H&M\u2019s warehouse with biogas vehicles and then deliver the parcels by bicycles from local hubs. In a press release the fast fashion retailer said, \u201cWe are happy to see an increasing interest for sustainability among our customers and hope they will love this new climate-smart way of getting their fashion finds delivered to their homes. We look forward to evaluating this pilot project and to reveal new exciting projects when it comes to climate-smart transports.\u201d<\/p>\n
