March 22: Uttar Pradesh will soon be planning to revamp the five prominent spots in the state that are believed to feature enhanced facilities for pilgrim’s travel facilitation.

According to the reports, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has recently issued directives which states that some pilgrim spots will be revamped and these sites include Chitrakoot and Vindhyachal.

A statement has been issued by the Chief Minister’s office that states that the state government is putting a lot of effort to facilitate prominent religious sites that include Chitrakoot, Naimisharanya, Shakumbari Devi, Vidhyanchal, and Shukratirtha. They plan to enhance the facilities in these sites in order to provide convenience for the visitors.

As per the statement, the government also prepared several budgetary provisions worth crores of rupees to beautify and develop the said sites. As per the report, the temple premises will be equipped with strict sanitation protocols and proper security measures.

The statement further added that the state has also instructed the development of Shakumbhari Devi at Saharanpur and Shukra Tirtha at Muzaffarnagar with an aim of promoting tourism in the region.

The statement adds, “The state government has also simultaneously chalked out a roadmap for the development of Lord Ram’s Taposthali, Naimisharanya and Chitrakoot in Awadh, which is believed to be the centre of meditation of 88000 sages, along with Shakti Peetha at Vindhyachal.”
