SpiceJet flights, 1 February: Indian low-cost air carrier SpiceJet earlier on January 30 had announced 20 new flights to strengthen their domestic network. The airline will be launching 16 new flights connecting Jaipur with different cities including Dehradun, Amritsar, Delhi, and Udaipur among others.

The air carrier will also connect Jaipur with Goa via Surat. Other than this, the airline previously connected Pakyong with Delhi and will now work on connecting the town with Kolkata. This connection process will be undegoing under the government’s regional connectivity scheme UDAN.

In another development, it will add its second frequnecy between Delhi and Dehradun. The company in a press note said that all new flights are scheduled to begin operations effective February 1 and February 10, 2021.

“There can’t be a better time to launch multiple flights to connect this picturesque and historical city with other major cities owing to the perfect weather conditions for travel and tourism. As Covid cases are slowly diminishing, travel destinations like Jaipur make a perfect weekend get-away for everyone with special introductory prices on one-way fares. Plus, we will keep adding new flights to various other Tier-2 cities offering great potential,” Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet stated in the release.
