May 27: Eiffel Tower known as the most cherished attraction of Paris is all set to open for visitors from July 16 after staying shut for months amid the closure driven by Covid-19.

The announcement was made official via the official page of the attraction as they also announced that the visitors would require to get their tickets online proceeding from June 1.

The announcement was made as it marked the moment as one of the most celebrated landmarks in the world. As per the reports, all floors of the Eiffel Tower will be accessible to visitors as before.

A tour operator bestowed to AFP saying that a maximum of 10,000 visitors would be allowed, initially, to visit the tower in a single day. However, in the pre-covid times, this number of visitors would be double than now. The number was set to 10,000 in order to enable visitors to practice social distancing while visiting their favourite attraction in Paris.

As of now, the structure is undergoing a detailed renovation programme for gearing up for the Olympics 2024. Hence, some of its parts, those are under construction, would remain closed for the visitors.
