April 19: Vaccinated people now have an edge for travelling, Meghalaya has now offered a trip for a much lesser price for the vaccinated people against Covid-19. According to the latest news reports, a travel-based company has announced an exciting Vax Trip that will be a five nights and six days tour.

As per the reports, the package is priced at Rs. 19,495. This amount includes airfare along with the promise to provide the soulful experience of Meghalaya’s lush greenery.

For the tour package, you just need to get to the Guwahati airport from where the tour manager will pick you up. After you meet the manager, you will be headed towards Cherrapunji, joined by several other travellers.

Together, you will head towards witnessing scenic views of the Northeastern region such as the Umiam Lake, Mawkdok Dympep Viewing Point among others locations. At the end of the first day, tourists will have dinner and night stay in Cherrapunji only.

The scenery of the majestic waterfalls will be seen on the second day of the trip, the Seven Sisters Waterfall along with mysterious caves at the Nohkalikai waterfall, Arwah Lumshynna Cave, and Dainthlen Waterfall. At the same time, tourists can also explore local authentic spices and honey showcased at the designated centres set up especially for the tourists.

The trip will also take you to the Mawlynnong village, a sacred Forest of Mawphlang and Living Root Bridge. The trip will end at Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.

According to the terms drafted for the trip, the senior citizens planning to take this trip and citizens above 70 years of age, will have to be accompanied by an attendant or a family member. Also, they will have to produce a fitness certificate and undergo a medical health check-up before proceeding with the bookings.
