Jammu and Kashmir tourism, February 20: In order to reestablish its tourism industry, the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department has restarted its online registration system. As per the reports, the Tourism, Culture, Youth Services and Sports Secretary, Sarmad Hafiz has finally now began the online service after clicking on the button and giving the registration to 2 tourism unit holders.

The online registration is completely user-friendly, hassle-free and is considered to be accessible by anyone. This dynamic website is built to smoothen the registration process to a great extent.

This online process is done only to safeguard the travel interests of the tourists who are visiting the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The enforcement of the provisions of this act will be done by the registration wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department.

Basically, this online registration is for a tourism unit holder or people ‘who can apply with the Department of Tourism in Jammu and Kashmir for the registration of his/her unit’. The registration process is done for travel units like dealers, hotels, and travel agencies. One just needs to log in to the website and submit the documents that are required based on the published checklist.

After the completion of the registration process, the documents will be examined by the higher authorities followed by an inspection. Afterwards, the person will be awarded a registration certificate.
