New Delhi, December 12: Ministry of Civil Aviation announces permit to eligible flyers for travelling further to South America, Africa with connecting flights. The connecting flights are from UAE, Europe, and Qatar under air bubble arrangements of those countries.

The passengers travelling under air bubble arrangement between India & Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda & Tanzania are allowed to travel to any country in Africa. However, those travelling between India-Ukraine may travel to and from CIS countries excluding Russia.

Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri said that the government has begun air activities with Nepal and Bhutan as well. His tweet read: “Normal flight services resume with Nepal under an Air Bubble Arrangement. Indians & Nepalese nationals & all those having valid Indian visa (except tourist visa). OCI & PIO cardholders will also be able to travel. Air India & Nepal Airlines will operate one daily flight each.”

Puri also said that the government is doing as much required to eliminate any problem in travel. He also told that 36.2 lakh people travelled via international flights since May 6 under Indian government’s Vande Bharat Mission.
