February 11: After successfully establishing a link with many other countries, now Indian has underwent an air bubble arrangement with Russia allowing travellers’ exchange between both the countries. Currently, India has banned the International flights since March last year but is currently facilitating the travel of the travellers through the air bubbles between the countries only. However, many rules and travel restrictions have been put on the citizens travelling from India to Russia and vice-versa.
If the travellers wish to travel to Russia, then you must be either a stranded national or resident of Russia only. Another possibility here can be that you will be permitted on-board given that the Indian nationals or nationals of Bhutan or Nepal must have a valid Russia visa. At the same time, the airlines are asked to ensure that there is no restriction to travel from such India, Nepales, or Bhutanese citizens to enter the country. This must be looked after while the booking process, or issuing the boarding passes to the citizens.
All seamen of foreign nationalists and the Indian passports holders must have Russia as their destination given that they will only be allowed after getting a clearance from the Ministry of Shipping. At the same time, citizens travelling from Russia to India must ensure that they are stranded Indian nationals or Nepalese or Bhutanese citizens. People holding OCI or PIO cards with passports of other countries will also be permitted onboard.
