May 20: After stay shut between mid-March and mid-July last year, Disneyland Paris has announced the reopening of its gates from visitors from June 17. This is a prime tourist attraction for visitors coming to Paris.

However, as the world was gripped by the deadly coronavirus, the visitors missed visiting the refreshing and fascinating spot, now the gates of their favourite spot will now open for them. Earlier, the park had planned to open its gate for the visitors in February and released a date, April 2 for the same, however, all its hope were washed off like mud in the rain as the covid cases surged.

Last month, Disneyland Paris was converted into a vaccination site as France prepared itself to fasten its vaccine drive. Moreover, after all these months the park is ready to serve its visitors yet again. Earlier on Monday, the theme park announced that guests aged more than 6 years will be required to wear a face mask.

The reservations will be mandatory to be done. At the same time, some activities or attractions would be modified or stay shut in wake of the Covid rules.

“A Disneyland source said that management is expecting a return to pre-pandemic levels of activity only in 2022.”
