February 10: Museums are indeed a concept that carries knowledge and fun both hand in hand. These are much appreciated by the art lovers and people who are keen to understand the cultures and the history of their roots. The museums have a tendency to spill-bound the visitor with its displaying material and object presentation.
One of such museums in India is Bihar Museum that is located in Patna. Bihar Museum is one of the largest ones in India containing many ambitious projects by the state government. Bestowing the history of Bihar and its impact on the state, the museum gallery presents the best of its projects with illustrations.
Now in order to further enhance the Indian museums’ cultures, a new dimension has been added in the premises. Bihar Museum Biennale will be held from 22-28 March 2021 as it will be organised by the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth affairs of Bihar Government. This initiative will take place at the museum premises in Patna. This will be the first-ever Museum Biennale in the country that will open for the world on March 22 as the day marks the occasion of Bihar Divas.

A few of the participants of the Biennale are Assam State Museum; City Palace Museum, Udaipur; Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai; Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal; Kanha Museum of Life and Art, among many others.
The inauguration will be done at the Bihar Museum itself over the presence of Bihar; Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Nodal Officer of Bihar Museum; Anjani Kumar Singh, Director of the famous state museum Deepak Anand among other renowned dignatories.
