March 08: Being suspended in the month of March only, the flights for Delhi- Gaya- Varanasi- Delhi route will begin from March 28 as they will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. As suggested by the reports, Air India is all set to resume the flights on the Delhi-Gaya route and has begun booking for the same.

The flights from Delhi will be off at 12 PM and will arrive at Gaya at 1:40 PM. Afterwards, leaving Varanasi at 2:15 PM, the flight will land at 2:50 PM.

The return route will be the same as the flight will take off for Delhi at 3:30 PM and will land at 5:10 PM. As mentioned above, the flights will operate 4 times a week namely on days; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Reports also have it that IndiGo has introduced flights for the route Mumbai- Gaya those got suspended later on citing the lesser footfall appearance for the route. Expectations claim that IndiGo may begin flight operations between Gaya and Bengaluru from April 26.

The highly contagious coronavirus infection has induced a national lockdown in India back in 2020 in the same ongoing month and now everything is on the route of going back to its shape but with a twist of ‘new-normal’.

The regular commercial flight operations are still on hold given the unseen phases of covid, however, the flight’s operations to and from India are undergoing only either by Vande Bharat mission of the country or by the air bubble arrangements which the country has drawn with various other countries.
