June 21: Puma, a global sports brand has recently extended its decade-long partnership with former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh. The brand has extended its contract as the face of Puma Motorsport in India.

With the help of this association, Singh has joined the global league of legends of the brand such as Thierry Henry, Usain Bolt, Boris Becker.

Moreover, the move came as India is one of the biggest markets for Puma Motorsport and the brand is looking to consolidate its position with help of its continued association with the former Indian cricketer aiming to bang on its popularity to drive growth.

Over the last few years, Puma has witnessed strong growth in India via its association with cricketers, further exposing huge growth potential. Puma has over 360 stores spread across 120 cities and is present across several e-commerce platforms as well in India.

Sharing his take over the association expansion, Yuvraj Singh in a statement said, “I share a long and fruitful relationship with Puma, it’s like family. I am excited to continue working with the brand, blending my love for fast cars and style through Puma’s motorsport-inspired collection.”

Furthermore, Abhishek Ganguly, managing director Puma India had quoted, “Puma and Yuvraj share a deep emotional bond that only grew stronger over the years. His relentless courage and indomitable attitude perfectly embody the spirit of our brand.”
