April 14: Adidas has recently launched its first company-owned Original store in India in the Ambience Mall of Gurugram. Measuring 3,573 square feet, the store houses its premium, selection of sneakers and casual wear.

Launched with a range of promotions and customer-centres activities, the store includes a raffle, carried out while the process of maintaining social distance regulations goes on. The store also celebrated the launch of its new sustainable sneaker range Stan Smith.

Other than this, the brand has also introduced another facet for the sustainable initiative that encourages people to recycle plastic bottle on the premises for the chance to win prizes selection.

The new store of Adidas also features an art piece that mixes modern skyline of Gurugram with a neon logo resulting into a an ample space for selfies.

Adidas recently announced in a press release on Tuesday, “With the launch of this new exclusive Adidas Originals store in India’s millennium city, the brand aims to further propel the sneaker culture and street style fashion game in the National Capital Region to an all-new level.”

Adidas was found by Adolf Dassler back in 1924 as the company specialises in the design and manufacturing of the footwear, sports equipment and sportswear.
