May 21: Future Group-owned Big Bazaar has recently launched its Store2Door service as the Covid-19 is disturbing public visits across the country. This service offers delivery within just two hours across the whole of India.
This service will give an opportunity to the shoppers to access their nearest Big Bazaar store online via the Big Bazaar website or via Whatsapp and call as well to order the products.
With the help of its Store2Door initiative, Big Bazaar is aiming to cater to its customers to shop safely given the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. They aim to serve nearly 140 cities across India especially in smaller towns.
Initially, the retail chain Big Bazaar had introduced its two-hour delivery service in the metropolitan cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. With this one-of-its-kind initiative, Big Bazaar is expecting high online sales doubling in a month’s time as a part of its total revenue.
Commenting on the initiative, a senior executive of Big Bazaar quoted, “We are only returning the trust and faith our member family have placed in us. For the last two decades, our doors have been opening to welcome them, and today when they can’t come to us, they are happy and amazed that we are going to them. They can order their usual brands from home and even interact with their familiar store team for any additional queries. It is a new synergy and energy that we are experiencing.”
