December 08: A renowned worldwide cloud gaming technology leader, Ubitus K.K. recently announced its partnership with Balenciaga in the launch of a fashion show inline. With the help of Ubitus technology, Balenciaga would showcase their first virtual interactive fashion show in the cloud.

With this decision, Balenciaga would have to create a huge application requiring hundreds of gigabytes in order to carry in our globally. For this virtual interactive fashion show, Balenciaga has chosen Ubitus leaving other companies behind. Therefore, Ubitus became the final choice to host the luxury fashion house’s fashion show in the cloud.

Talking about the partnership, an excited Wesley Kuo serving as CEO at Ubitus quoted that the team is quite excited and privileged to have gotten an opportunity in participating in such a unique endeavour. Moreover, he quoted, “We have been in cloud gaming solution business for many years. This is our first foray into other media-related industries. We are delighted to work with the creative talents from Balenciaga and substance & inhalt; they certainly open our minds regarding creative thinking.”

With this huge achievement, Ubitus is planning to further broaden its approach in the technology applications in the new industries and areas. Balenciaga took this decision amid the ongoing covid situation where holding a public event is a risk, therefore, they decided to go cloud this time.
