The Desi Girl of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra who is also a social activist has been appointed as the British Fashion Council’s Ambassador for positive change. The Dostana actor shared the good news via Twitter as she mentioned that she is feeling extremely honoured and ecstatic about her new journey. Her tweet also revealed she will live and work from London over the next year.

Being a vital part of BFC, Chopra’s key responsibilities would include widening the Institute of Positive Fashion strategy, that aims to promote ethical practices and circularity in the industry. During her course tenure, she will also assume an active role in the events of BFC like London Fashion Week and The Fashion Awards. The same was reported by Business of Fashion. Priyanka Chopra’s tenure would be ending in December 2021.

Priyanka Chopra is a Padma Shree Awardee and is the founder of production company Purple Pebble Pictures. She was the national and global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for child rights in 2010 and 2016, respectively. She was last seen in her film The Sky Is Pink opposite, Farhan Akhtar.
