May 11: Skagen has recently launched its environmentally sustainable watches range titled ‘Aaren Naturals’ in the Indian market. The Fossil Groups’ Danish lifestyle brand introduced the watches brand as part of its Earth Month celebrations.
The newly launched range ‘Aaren Naturals’ is a part of the pro-planet collection of the company. The company claims that each case of the timepiece and strap features the pro-planet materials made using recycled content and leather alternatives.
The watches of Aaren Naturals are available in 36 mm along with the 40 mm case sizes. The watches are priced at Rs. 9,495 ($130). The collection will be available at all Skagen stores along with the Skagen kiosks and other of its online and offline partners across the country.
Sharing his excitement over the launch, Johnson Verghese, the managing director at Fossil India, quoted, “Sustainability in business has always been an industry need, one that is gaining significance now more than ever. We are delighted to introduce the very essence of Denmark through the Aaren Naturals collection, for Indian consumers.”
Continuing further, he added, “The eco-friendly measures we are adopting will ensure we make environmentally responsible strides in fashion. Our aim is to create a lasting impact with our materials and processes through pro-planet change to build a cleaner future.”
