April 14: Shirin Mann, founder of the Needledust has recently launched a sustainable luxury label Sand that plays around various tones, colours and moods to create the best of the style.

Sand uses fabrics that are made from aloe vera, eucalyptus, rose, soybean protein and banana alongside organic pure cotton, linens and hemp. The price range of the newly launched products begins at Rs. 2,890 onwards.

It took a year and a half for Shirin Mann to research and sample the outcomes he has launched now. Sand by Shirin is an acronym for Such A Nice Day. The brand is born out of the modern values of the 21st century as the brand is ‘the celebration of all things simple, unrestricted and fluid’.

Founder and creative director of Sand by Shirin, Shirin Mann expressed, “We are so thrilled to launch Sand after a long process of trials and creative ideation over the course of a year and a half. For me, Sand represents the uniqueness of all women, our clothes are our biggest body shamers.”

Shirin, further continues, “When we gain or lose weight, our clothing duly lets us know. With so many opinions on our bodies in the world, our clothes needn’t have one. Sand aims to make you feel confident, fierce and beautiful at all times and I’m so thrilled to start this journey with women across the globe.”
