December 19: Metro Brands Ltd. is currently planning to expand its services and portfolio in 2021 taking the help of partnerships with renowned and upcoming brands. These brands would be indulged in technology and innovation in the e-commerce field and footwear, accessories as well. Serving people for the last 73 years, Metro Brands has crossed a well-managed revenue of Rs. 1400 crore by their offline business.

At the same time, the online vertical managed to bring them a double-digit growth rate. The second largest fashion footwear retailer has a wide network of over 550 retail stores in 127 cities across the country. The key store of the brand is in locations like airports, leading malls, marketplaces and high street locations. Currently, this widespread network has a strategic partnership with over 200 national and international vendors.

Talking about the future plans, Farah Malik Bhanji serving as the MD at Metro Brands Ltd. quoted, “This year has been challenging for the retail industry in general, but it has also given us an opportunity to go back to the drawing board and re-organize our business strategies to be ready for future expansion. In 2021, we see a huge opportunity in India for growth, particularly through partnerships with new as well as established international brands.”
