The ethnic wear and lifestyle brand has announced the news via Facebook that they have brought together brands like Okhai, Swaravow, A Tiny Mistake, KharaKapas, Suta, Bare Necessities- Zero Waste India, Forty Red Bangles, RangSutra Crafts, Gaatha- a Tale of Crafts, and Allthatgrass to raise funds for artisans.

FabIndia has identified artisans and craftspeople all across India who are in need of financial assistance and has chosen a group of as many as 1,500 families and clusters to receive aid. Through GiveIndia, the brand is planning to directly give Rs. 5,000 to each family.

Other than this, Fab India has also launched a range of products to respond to the new needs of the customers during the prevailing lockdown situation. Along with its new range of loungewear, the brand has also begun retailing the detox programmes, face masks and cleaning supplies. Currently, the brand is running its online delivery service in areas where non-essential deliveries are only allowed under local regulations.

Announcing the initiative, FabIndia announced on Facebook, “Covid-19 has impacted the livelihoods of a huge number of artisans. With little or no working opportunities, they have lost access to their daily wages and are now struggling with no alternate income… We encourage you to join us and donate to raise funds and help the underprivileged communities in such challenging times.”
