Delhi: Indian actor Alia Bhatt recently shared her thoughts on contributing more towards sustainable fashion as she advocates in favour of passing the clothes on rather than throwing them, with this, she feels we will be able to take the first step towards the right direction. While talking about this basic-yet-useful advice, Alia quoted to IANSlife that this step was the most effective way to contribute.

One just needs to switch up their choices, She also said that she herself never throw away her clothes and she passes them on. Since childhood, as claimed by the Highway actor, she has been passing her clothes to her friends. She added, “When I used to grow out of certain clothes, I used to pass them on to my friends. I remember one day I was hanging out with my best friend, her cooks walk into the room wearing a t-shirt which I gave to her some three years ago. So, she passed my t-shirt on to her cook. I was so amazed by it. The memory still stays with me. Something you don’t use can be of extremely useful to somebody else.”
