January: Arata has become the first personal care brand in India using 100% recycled and recyclable packaging across its wide product range. The personal care brand uses waste plastic collected from oceans and landfills located across the globe. They sanitize, pelletize, melt and mould the plastic to be reused in its packaging.

Arata does not use a single-use plastic such as plastic bags, excessive tapes. shrink wrap in their secondary packaging. In fact, the labels used are printed using food grade biodegradable ink. The brand works on its sole aim in providing 100% transparency to its customers.

The company has disclosed ingredient lists used in their product labels available on their website. Arata also explained where the ingredients have been bought from, their positive points and how each formula is made in order to make sure that the consumers are well-informed and can make the right choice.

Arata is the first even Indian brand that is EWG-certified as it was launched in February 2018. Found by Dhruv Madhok who is a former strategy consultant in the US and UAE and Dhruv Bhasin, a former finance executive in the UK and India, the company is making the most to provide best to their customers.

Arata is a cruelty free, vegan brand completely free from sulphates, mineral oil, and harmful synthetic preservatives. All of these may pose a potential threat toward human bodies.
