March 18: Anju Modi, a renowned women’s traditional wear designer unveiled her flagship store at a new address in the capital. The store is opened inside the luxury interior design house ArtLivings in Okhla Phase-1. The new retail space consists of Anju Modi’s newest collection for the spring/summer season.

This collection includes a recently released series of ivory and gold Anarkali sets named as Sufi Rythm. According to a report by the leading fashion website, the brand counts Biba as an investor and Modi has also launched her latest Anju Modi for Biba collection of kurtas and other traditional wear sets.

These high-end collections will be available both on the brand’s e-commerce platform and in a selection of its 255 exclusive retail outlets across India.

Recently the brand shared on Facebook as they announced the opening of the new store, “As the summer wedding season unfurls in full swing, we invite you to explore a range of pastel-hued timeless ensembles.”

Modi recently told MoneyControl, about her continued partnership with Biba, “In my atelier, all our time and money is focused on developing products with a scientific attention to detail. So to market and distribute at a scale I knew I needed to collaborate.” She further said, “I am conscious about the environment so I was clear about no compromises like using polyester.”
