27 January: A renowned brand Indya which caters to the women clothing fashion has forayed into the skincare segment as well. It said 15-20 per cent of its revenue to come from this category in the coming 18-24 months.

Owned by High Street Essentials, Indya also runs the FabAlley brand and it will introduce 39 stock-keeping units in the face care category whose prices will be priced between Rs. 250-1,450. These skincare products will be available on the Indya website other than the exclusive brand stores and online platforms as well including Purplle, Myntra and Nykaa.

Indya skincare segment will be live on Nykaa Beauty app and other aforementioned digital shopping sites from 1st of February 2021 with high expectations of becoming a large business category for the company.

HSE co-founder Tanvi Malik was quoted by PTI as saying said, “The USD, 2.5 billion skincare market, is one of the fastest-growing segments in India. By focusing our resources, robust logistics and marketing, and with our existing two billion-strong loyal customer base, we are aiming to grow this category swiftly. With Indya Skin Care we aim to be a brand that is not only affordable and delivers results but also provides a form of self-expression to the millennial Indian woman. With our fashion brands already retailing at all large platforms, we were confident to adopt the same strategy for skincare, too.
