May 21: Earlier on Tuesday, Facebook had announced the introduction of Live Shopping Fridays where it will use the power of its Live Shopping Feature in order to bring a few of the renowned fashion and beauty brands on one platform to showcase tips, demos, products among other activities.

The initiative begins today only and will follow every Friday through July 16. The brands taking part in this initiative include Sephora, Abercrombie & Fitch and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. As planned, all these brands will be going live as part of the 3 rotating categories namely Glow Up, Self-Care Spotlight and New Fashion Finds.

Other brands joining the unique league are Clinique, Dolce Vita and ZOX. The shoppable live videos will offer customers a chance to discover the latest products they have been longing for and ask direct questions about size, fit and tips.

Alleyyoop quoted that it will share useful and easy makeup tips from celebrity makeup artist @beautybychloe and its founder Leila Kashani. At the same time, Dermalogica has offered to walk the shoppers through a complete skincare treatment, travel sizes of products and SPF guide.

Other than this, the customers are free to purchase items presented during the Live Shopping stream. All they have to do is tap on the products featured in the stream and then they can check them out with Shops. This initiative gives a perfect opportunity for brands who would get a chance to build relationships with customers with the help of entertaining content.
